Beautiful summary of your year in photos! Your blog is so refreshing and cheerful! Can I ask where you got your stockings, or did you make them? I’ve been looking for stockings like those–simple and personalized–though not sure I want to make them for all of us. Thanks!

    Hi Katrissa-
I bought the 2 big ones (Chris & Morgan) years ago at Pottery Barn and then sometime later I was at a Pottery Barn/Williams Sonoma outlet and they had the little ones for .99 cents each- so I grabbed 5 or 6. This was long before we had kids so as they have been born, I’ve pulled them out of storage and sent them to be monogrammed. I’ve only got 1 or 2 left now… who would have thought? LOL! Good luck!

What a year!! Love those pictures, they are awesome. Where did you get those Christmas jammies for the kids with their names on the bums? Absolutely adorable. I want to get my 2 boys some for next year! So glad I found your blog a couple months ago 🙂

So I’m supposed to be busy doing something productive, (i.e. shoveling snow) but instead I’m googleing friends come and gone, but still in my heart and on my mind. When surprise, I googled you, and there you are! The girl that introduced me to Williams-Sonoma measuring cups, Silpats, and quite a few other ingenious inventions. It makes me feel ancient when I see that my children are so much older than the cute little bundles of joy all my Boston friends now have. If I had an ounce of your creativity and ambition I would live in a much more beautiful place. You want to visit Montana? JK. Oh well, just had to say hi, glad to see that life is treating the Moores well.

I saw your picture of “Carmel”, only that isn’t Carmel. That’s Hopkins Marine Station in Monterey next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Carmel is on the other side of the hill south on Hwy 1.
