Today in the courtyard…

Because I haven't taken any pictures of this growing belly since July.

Because this is our month.

Because next month I'm sure I'll have forgotten how uncomfortable I once was.

Because I love these flowers that keep falling from the trees.

Because these are the only shoes that are comfortable, and I want to remember them. 

Because I'm so excited to meet our newest little one.

Because I can't wait to witness one more duckling enjoy life as much as these two do.

(and they are so excited to meet him, too!)

Happy November! It's gonna be a good one. 

I can just feel it.

    We are also expecting our third baby late this month/early next month (hoping for late this month!) I think I might have to steal your idea and take a similar photo of myself this afternoon! Best of luck to you this month-if you’re anything like me, you’re trying to get a million little things taken care of before the new member of the family arrives!

    I pray your delivery is smooth and quick! I had my Lucy on Nov. 16th (which also happens to be MY birthday). It is a good day to have a baby. 🙂

    Hey Morgs. Love the belly pic. November is the perfect month for having babies. I recommend shooting for Thanksgiving day. Sage was born on TD. Can’t wait for the baby news. Keep your beautiful green sandaled feet up as much as possible.
    p.s. So great to see Chris a few weeks ago. Only thing that would have made it better is if we would have gotten to see you too.

    Wow Morgan. I wish your other more recent posts had comments turned on, although I can understand why they don’t. I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous. Some people just take themselves WAY too seriously. I loved the birthday party and applaud you for your creativity!

    love the belly pic. so excited for you and your little brood this month. i am hoping that your mom can come and help you for as long as possible post partum–i wish i was close enough to bring a meal in or steal henry and kate for a day. we can’t wait to see his pictures and find out his name.
    and btw, i’m so sorry about all those nasty comments on ohdeedoh. the world is full of people just waiting to be offended. i think you’re perfectly wonderful.:)

    Hi Morgan, I’m a lurker but wanted to say I’m so sorry for those awful comments you are getting on your ADORABLE INDIAN party. This coming from a…..INDIAN! 😉 I’m part Cherokee and live in Oklahoma and native american, Indian, redman. I don’t care! I’m sure none of the women who are complaining are even native american 😉 In Oklahoma the native americans still have pow wows with teepees and they ride around on horses with feathers in their hair screaming like….you guessed it, wild indians. 🙂 I just had to say “gimme a break!”

    Hey I just wanted to give you a cyber-hug. Is that too wierd? I just wanted to let you know that I think you were unfairly judged. I’ve loved reading your blog for quiet some time now…a year or two perhaps. I have always found you very open and non-judgemental and not once racist. I think these people were just over reacting and if they read your blog, they’d know better. Please don’t let the Ohdeedohdeedoh trolls get you down. Please. You deserve so much more (or is it moore) than that. Please don’t stop writing either. I used to live LA and love seeing some of the old haunts. I’d give anything for some of that garlic chicken at Versaille right now. How do they make that stuff anyway?? Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know that there are people like us who think you deserve better than what you got.

    Morgan, bookmarked your blog ages ago, then lost track of it. Just spent a while looking in the archives and recently. What an amazing woman you are…you wear many hats so well! Love the fabric arts, occasional recipes and, mostly, the family posts. Such lovely children and fun times with them. Glad you changed your daughter’s name to Kate…my daughter’s name as it happens…and wonder what the new baby’s name will be. Best wishes for a healthy, happy baby and future blogging.

    Wow, girl! All I can say is HOLY CRAP! What a bunch of hogwash that comment thread was on the birthday party! Seriously. It blew my mind! We are totally sick with political correctness in this country. It’s shameful. Your ideas were awesome and clever, and the execution was fab. Just like all your talents are. And I know, I’ve been reading for years. SO the only thing you should be feeling is PRIDE for a job well done. Keep up the good work. This whole things is water off a duck’s back, just rolling away without a thought.
