Bedroom
Henry & Kate's room, finally finished. You like? I WISH! I'm needing some major inspiration for Henry's room and I'm completely ga-ga over this one. Especially that mini-bed on the right. It makes my heart hurt it's so good. Henry & Kate will be sharing a room in no time, and I really don't want to do anything that's gender specific. This room is amazing, no? Except the dream catcher thingy. I can do without that and the gigantic yellow M&M chair. Did you see the Mark Ruffalo layout in the new issue of Domino?  Here is their kids room:

Ruffalo

Similar yet different. I love that both genders are incorporated into the same room. I think what I'm loving is the white walls and lots of organized knick-knacks. All the bits of color on the walls. There is a lot of it, but it feels controlled.

Ruffalo2

Did you know that we saw Mark & Sunrise Ruffalo at IKEA in Burbank, Johnny? It's true. Right after we moved here about 3 1/2 years ago. I think she was pregnant…and they were there with her Mother and they bought a fuzzy childrens rug. We bought the same one. I will not say if our purchase was or was not inspired by the Ruffalo's. You can check out the rest of their pad at Domino Online.

Hey, I had seen that Ruffalo layout in Domino, and loved it. Shelby and Garrett may end up sharing down the line too. NO idea how to pull that one off since her walls are covered in pink equestrian toile. Yikes, maybe it can get Garrett in touch with his feminine side!

thanks for showing the rooms. i’m in need of some inspiration. my son and daughter share a room too. right now it’s a little (ok, a lot) on the feminine side seeing that my daughter was born first. at least i took off the lavender bedding on the crib right?? but, the poor boy has no crib bedding (like he cares). the crib itself is painted a soft green and it has white sheets on it. really. what i want. is a house with more than two bedrooms. maybe i’ll just hold out for that ; )

Such great inspiration – makes me want to move my kids in together (and use one of their rooms as my craft room!). So sad Domino is closing its doors.
