Jumper's for Kate. 1 of 2. In general I tend to not sew for babies under 1. I think they should live in soft cottony, comfy pajama-type clothes. Plus, they grow out of clothes so fast. Anyway this here jumper is a size 12 months, so I'm hoping to get some mileage out of it. It is a soft, light-weight corduroy. I love this fabric. The acorns…gah. To die for. From Joann. And those vintage hangers? I found them in Utah in the Fall. All 6 for .49 cents. And then there was this little get-up, too:

I did make 2 pair of pajama bottoms for Henry. They were SO SHORT. I don't know what I was thinking…. AND can you believe the night I pulled the pattern out to make said pants, the pattern piece was missing. The one piece I needed. Who does that? Who cut's out the piece they need and then returns it? What else? Oh an apron for my sister:
IMG_2732 I think it's one of my all-time favorites. I had the hardest time trying to pair something with that wonderful Anna Maria Horner red print, but I think the black works.

I'm off to Target for some retail therapy. I saw something there the other night that I have not been able to stop dreaming about.

Happy weekend.

I have one question for you: WHERE ON EARTH DO YOU FIND THE TIME? DO you sew at night when the kids are asleep? Because I am dead on my feet by 8 p.m. – no creative energy AT ALL.

I love the material you chose for the jumpers. The first one with the acorns reminds me of a Mary Englebreit drawing! So sweet!

So sweet! And amen about the hair accessories visible from space. A word of caution–they can get those little suckers out of their hair and EAT them. So beware. Third child, no ER visits ever, she reaches 8 months and swallows one of those teeny barretts. Oops. Just keep your eye on it :).

Very cute dresses. And just think, over pants when they’re too short.
