IMG_2635My clever friend Rachel came by yesterday with this gorgeous bouquet of fresh herbs. The farmers market downtown goes every Wednesday and I was so thrilled to be the recipient of all this goodness. The herbs have been standing in some water and making our kitchen smell delicious. It's a wonderful bundle of basil, chives, dill, rosemary, parsley and thyme. Isn't it the best idea to give for the holidays? Rachel confided in me (because she knows how much I appreciate a good deal) the price of this was…very, very reasonable. It's such a great alternative to all that sweetness (but I would like it duly noted that I am accepting ALL forms of holiday goodness this year.) Rachel you are brilliant.

And this. This is what my craft project was for today. Be warned: there was a glue gun involved. It's for Henry and I'm really excited about it. You'll want to make one too. I promise. I've been taking step-by-step pictures for a little tute for you so…that will be hitting the blog in a few days.

Happy Weekend!

    Love, love, love the herbs.
You are such a foam block tease …..
ay-yi-yi …. seeing that foam brings back SO many memories of years and years of floral design.
Can’t wait to see the finished project. :>

Is the word “robot” going to figure in to Henry’s project? B/c if so, my Sam is going to be all upons.

Morgan I’m so excited to see what you are making!! You never disappoint.
By the way the “yeast infection” commentary was hilarious, I could just hear your voice and how it fluctuates when you talk. The rolls I assume turned out yummie, at least they looked yummier than a Cinnabon Cinnamon roll.
I have loved reading about what has been going on in your life. It makes me miss Boston all the more and all the memories we had. You were my first Visiting Teacher I ever had being married and I always looked forward to those visits especially when I didn’t know anyone plus who can forget those fun Halloween parties you threw.
    Until next time 🙂

That IS the best gift! I love fresh herbs. LOVE them! In fact, my favorite part of our Christmas decor this year are these two little foot tall “rosemary trees” I found at Albertsons, of all places! So Ina! 🙂
CAn’t wait to see the tute!
