Single White Baby (SWB)
seeking Baby Handler.

I have baby patterned baldness, am pleasantly plump and round in all the right places,  now featuring one bottom tooth, and can smile on command.

I am:

  • easy to get along with
  • a good listener
  • easily entertained
  • a bit of a slober-er
  • and only poop on Tuesdays (5 month track record)
SEEKING:
  • someone to hold me all day long
  • someone to rub my throbbing gums
  • a lover not a fighter
  • must be good with minors

Please contact me through my agent. I am represented by Mama Moore, she is wondering if you have any brilliant suggestions on how to make my teeth feel better.

Maybe we can swap for a while? My “I am” section would be simple: “happy during the day, not sleeping at night”
    🙂

    awww what a sweetie!
You could ask her pediatrician about OTC Miralax for constipation. Some babies are just like that and things will work themselves out as they get older.
Frozen mini bagels are fabulous for teething. They become a sticky gooey mess, but they taste good and the coldness helps.

She’s so cute! When my boys were getting teeth there was only one thing that worked for them. We used those mesh things that were supposed to be used for food, except we would put ice in them, and they would suck on them. That would numb their gums enough to relieve the pain.

So sweet.. we are 6 months old and love highlands.. but even more than that LOVE LOVE LOVE those foam letters that go in the play mat. They have just the right texture, we love the inside of the 6, 8 and 9. They are about the size of a baseball and don’t absorb all the water. 😀
cute – the fingers, our Dr calls that “cheese stix”

Awwww–what a cutie! My Monster sucks the exact same fingers–I can always tell when he’s getting sleepy. 🙂
Hope the teething gets better! Orajel, tylenol, frozen bananas, and/or the little teethers you put in the fridge. And lots of nights awake, rocking, soothing, and being together. Hope her little gums feel better soon! Oh–even better–I just remembered–my kids LOVED to gnaw on the top of the tylenol bottle. The little squeezy part. It was a good size–and even went to the back when the molars came in!

Too cute! I Would steam baby carrots until they were tender and then freeze them. Then you pop the kiddy in the high chair and tear them loose with frozen carrots. Messy, but sure keeps them happy.

Hey! I found your site on a friends blog and noticed all the quilting sites you have on yours! I hope you don’t mind if I put them on mine because I am a quilting-aholic and love to get inspiration from others.

I was going to HIGHLY recommend Hyland’s teething tablets, but notice that a few others already have. They are truly like magic, if you like homeopathy.
BTW, thanks so much for my purchase from the Nienie sale, it arrived safe and sound. You’re a hero for pulling all that together….

Baltic Amber Teething necklaces!!!!! When worn against the skin, they release natural pain relief. Ours is worth twice its weight in gold, at least!

My kids always loved those baby toothbrushes (you know the ones with the littl loop handle) to chew on. They liked them even better if I put them in the freezer for a bit. Five months…really??? Time flies.

for the gums I used to wet the corners of a fabric diaper and put them on the freezer, when the corners were frozen.. I will give the diaper to my baby to suck on… I know sounds gross… but it worked.

I just took Dexter to the doctor today because I thought he might have an ear infection because he kept grabbing his ear. Turns out, just teething (as I really suspected, but you never know…). Anyway, she said that infant Motrin is better when they are teething because it reduces swelling and helps with pain while Tylenol only helps with pain.

found this natural teething ointment you can make at home:
    Ingredients:
ounce pure vegetable glycerin or vegetable oil
2 drops essential oil of clove
    Directions:
Add one drop of clove to your glycerin and shake it until it is well blended. Test it on yourself to make sure it is not too strong before adding another drop. Glycerin is very sweet so it makes the remedy a bit more appealing.
    Hope this helps!

If you go to the health food store and buy some red clove oil rub it on the gum’s to numb the pain. They even have a brand for kids called all smiles. Worked great for one of my x boyfriends when his wisdom teeth were coming in,
