Heres the dealio. I still have a bunch more stuff to list.
Instead of having everyone check in throughout the day- let's say you meet me here tomorrow, Wednesday at 10 a.m.
and all the remaining items will be listed (it's all very very good!).

Thanks for doing it this way Morgan… I was so disappointed when I couple things I was looking at disappeared while I continued browsing… gonna be back tomorrow with my game face on! lol

I cannot believe how fast everything went!!! there were some items that i wanted- but i hesitated too long. i was happy to find that their shops were listed and I can order from their shops- it would be cool if people wanted to donate additional items from their etsy shops (or even a portion of their sales during the next 2 days)- i have more nie cards for sale at my etsy shop with 100% of sales going to the nie nie benefit. and i am thinking about donating a portion of my sales for the rest of the month (or possibly october- stephanie’s favorite holiday is in october) to the nie nie benefit as well- i just need to get around to putting that additional info in my shop. I don’t know if other people are doing the same- i know that there is a place on the benefit site that mentions all of the etsy shops- maybe that would be enough or maybe it could be mentioned on your shop… i really want to get an item that i missed at the esty sale-and i will probably buy it regardless of the benefit- but it would be cool to help out the cause as well.

Thank you, Morgan! I, too, hesitated for a second too long on many items and missed out big time! I will be back tomorrow, though. I can’t thank you enough for giving all of us this wonderful opportunity to help the Nielsons. So many people want to help however we can, but just didn’t know how. You are truly amazing for doing all of this!

Morgan, this was such a success. It’s such a beautiful thing when so many people in Blogland want to participate in helping Nie Nie. A friend of mine gave me the link to the Martha Stewart post about blogging:

I thought, wouldn’t it be lovely if someone like Martha Stewart got the word out about the fund raising events to help this family. So, I left a comment with the link to your blog and my post which writes about the Nie Nie Fundraiser on Etsy. I hope one of her staff reads the comment and learns more about the cause.

Of ALLLLL days my comcast connection goes out..TODAY! It tanked around noon EST and didn’t come back until 10 minutes ago! AHHH! I missed it all. I am thankful there will be more tomorrow and I will have my buying fingers ready! Can’t wait to see the dress I donated for tomorrow’s listings! 🙂

morgan i hope you’re getting some sleep right now! and i just wanted to say that i appreciate that you didn’t make it an auction. i think it’s great to auction some items, but by simply selling the others, it’s now an option for me to participate (if i can make up my mind quickly that is).
take the doll for an example… the bidding in almost $500 right now. so glad to see that kind of money being raised for the family, but i could not even consider something on that level.
i think your mix of sale and auction is just right! and again, thanks for all your hard work!

If you put the item in your cart and then continue shopping, the item will be gone. You have to purchase right then if you really want something.

Question: For those of us who donated an item to be sold, will we get confirmation that it sold? I sent in an item and I wasn’t able to see it listed today because by the time I got online, there were only 3 items left, so I have no idea if it sold or not or was even listed. Thanks!

What a wonderful response…..and you are so wonderful for putting this all together and bringing us all together to help NieNie. I think you need to call the Relief Society to come help you pack up all those boxes!! I’m hoping I can get online tomorrow to buy something and I’m thrilled to pieces that my little altered journal sold:)

oh greta! i went to the playground came home and only 2 items were left to purchase, 1 far too pricey for me. that is awesome though that everything sold SOOOO quickly. wonderful really. so YAY for tomorrow 10am here on your blog? or at the etsy site again? thank you, kristin zecchinelli

I just heard about the sale. Sorry I’m a bit slow …been a bit distracted due to hurricane Ike out here in Texas! I’m a little late for this one but let me know if you decide to have another sale. I have some handmade, hemstiched and crocheted handkerchiefs and 3 packages of baby announcement note cards that I would love to donate.
