Img_9469_2 Weeks that is. Okay, so this picture is only slightly exaggerated. In real life, I can’t actually see my feet. I mean I have to really lean forward. Chris said it makes my feet look like Alice in Wonderland, so very far away…. "Is that taken with a fish-eye lense?" he asks. ha ha. You so not funny.
Img_9489 It’s been a very, very crazy time here. Chris officially started back at DWTS last week after a 10 week stint at "Trading Spaces." (I know, your thinking what I thought, "Is that show still on the air???" Yes, yes it is.) I offered up my mac for him to take to the dance rehearsals and on location so he wouldn’t have to rent one, which leaves me without my lappy-top during the day. His PC is here, but I’m just kinda connected to the mac, Ya’ heard? Anyway- really sporadic, crazy schedule so we are trying to adjust here, as much as you can when everyday is different.

This week started out with a bang, literally, when early on Monday morning we heard someone calling "help me! help me!" from outside our front door. Chris leapt up and found our 81-year old neighbor laying on the ground. She had tripped and fallen and was pretty banged up. We got her settled and a few hours later, the 74 year-old neighbor came by. You know, word travels fast in little apartment complexes like ours. Everyone’s got to know what’s going on with everyone else in a very Edward Scissorhands-ish kind of way. So I’m telling her what happened and she starts to not look so good. I bring a dining room chair out into the hallway and she sits down. Then, passes out. I’m holding her up, calling her name, trying to get her to come out of it. She does. I call the ambulance. They come and haul her off. She calls today (3 times actually) from the hospital and says, "weren’t those ambulance guys soo cute??" Then proceeds to make some joke about getting ‘fresh’ with one of them, in said ambulance. I think that was the drugs talking…
Img_9481 Henry’s Pal, Shea, came over this morning around 6:45. His Mama was being induced today and I’m very sad to say, 15 hours later….still no baby! What’s all this talk about second deliveries being quicker?  What a bunch of bologna.  The morning was a bit slow. ‘It’s only 9 a.m… really?’  ‘It’s only 10:30?’ ‘It’s only 11!’ But they ended up doing really well together and we spent almost the entire day outside. It was so beautiful here today. I’m happy to say, they are snuggled up and officially passed out for the night! I think I’m going to be joining them real soon.

Img_9441 Betsey & Richard came over Sunday night for some low-key Oscar action. They brought ‘themed’ treats. Aren’t they hilarious? I think my favorite is the "No Country for Old Men". Actually I think this is my favorite:

Img_9444 Brilliant. I mean what else can be said?

Just finishing up Jennifer’s quilt block and getting ready to send that off in the next few days. I’ve got a few new etsy idea’s that I wanna run by you guys, I’ll try to get on that this week. Hope your having a lovely one!

xoxo

I gotta say, I always sneak a peek at the pictures before reading your blog because they are so creative. So, before reading, I thought the first one of Henry standing under a big black umbrella with just his little feetsies poking out and tying the red shoes in with the red flowers was very artistic. ummmm, sorry I mistook an umbrella for your belly. At least you can see your feet which is more than I can say and I’m not pregnant!!! I miss your Oscar parties but am glad to not have to be around for Jason Harris to gloat about winning when we all know he just sat and read online while “moonlighting” to find out the experts guesses. Too bad he can’t form an opionion on his own.
Love the visual of the pregnant lady holding up the fainting neighbor with the other neighbor on the ground. It’s just the best I can do! Miss you! j.

Sounds like it’s been a little crazy there but warm weather is good, right? We’re going to be in LA for a quick trip over Easter weekend. Thought we might be able to see each other for a quick hi!

I hope the last 10 fly by. We can’t wait for her to arrive! Jason was all alone this year for the Oscars…I was in NY with his parents and he worked all weekend. He hadn’t even seen most of the movies until last week. Wish we’d both been with you guys! Love the themed food. Very creative.

I hate to say this, but my 2nd delivery was the longest out of all four. I hope that your’s is much shorter!
Also, I have to tell you that you are my husband’s dream wife. Taking up the entire sacrament meeting is high on his list of positive attributes for a dream wife. : ) You were very informative and interesting to boot!

So sad to see that even years later Jill still wallows in the shadow of my glorious victory three years running. It pains me to see that bitterness still fills her soul. Did I mention that I am still undefeated?

Harris — it has come to light that you were all alone for the Oscars this year — of course you won! Is that the only way to count a victory? That is pathetic! Let’s plan next year to have a re-match. Dave & Heather I’m sure will want to be there as Dave was the one to remind me of your incredible skills at interpreting data and cheating to win. I’m sorry that those Oscar wins are the highlight of your life.
Morgs — I apologize for using your blog to help Jason see the error of his ways. You wanna take this outside Harris? Or at least to a more private e-mail?

I remember that point of pregnancy where no matter how hard I tried or from what angle I contorted myself into, I could no longer see the bottom half of my belly. It’s crazy not being able to reach your toes, but then again I missed that big ol’ belly when it was gone. Such a handy little shelf, too, for writing quick notes or placing a snack plate. I hope your little gal is good to you these last 10 weeks. Can’t wait to meet her! (And yes, Betsey and Richard are so clever!)
