Diet Coke that is. It just seems to make the afternoon complete. And it really does taste better if you can sip it out of a fancy glass. There is some leftover chocolate birthday cake too, that is calling my name. An afternoon of coke & cake. This could be deadly. I hope Chris doesn’t come home to me face-down on a plate of half eaten chocolate cake. He made my most favorite chocolate cake for my birthday. It’s killer. If you like chocolate cake (does this question even need to be asked?) you really, really must make this recipe. You’ll need Hershey’s cocoa and the recipe can also be found on the side of the container. It’s the only cake I’ve ever made that calls for 1 C of boiling water. It makes for the most wonderfully dense and moist cake you’ll ever eat.

I’m making the above coasters for my shop update this Friday. They are made from my absolute favorite linen fabrics that I picked up last year in the fashion district. Also making some very cool switch-plates. I’ll let you know when everything will be available on Friday.

Happy Wednesday!

(Does anyone else have the song "You’ve got to move it, move it" stuck in their head from last nights DWTS? Now I’ve got Henry saying "move it, move it!")

xoxo

The coaster is very pretty. And a fancy glass of ordinary soda. What a way to drink it!

Growing up in a house where there was very little drinking we used to drink our soda out of wine glasses and other fancy goblet-type glasses! I swear it makes it taste better. That, and when it comes out of a liter. Much better than a can. Of course, my dad used to sneak a little red wine into his every now and then. Sounds gross, but I dare you to try it and not like it! I’m sipping on a DC right now. Gotta love not being pregnant anymore…that was the first thing I wanted when I got home from the hospital! So sad…

Another fabulous project–your coasters are very sweet. And YES….”You’ve got to move it, move it”….is on my brain after Monday and Tuesday’s Dancing With The Stars…their performance was incredible!!!!

Happy Birthday Morgan! Growing up is just so hard to do! By the way, I went to sleep that night after DWTS with the “move it” song in my head! How funny is that? But I sure love Apollo and Julianne!

Mmmm…coke and cake…. Oh, that sounds so good! I might just have to bake a cake (although I’ve been a little heavy into the desserts this week, but so what!)
Lovely coasters! The ric-rac adds such a cute touch.
