Hello Dear Friends! Well, the time has come. It’s officially the 100th
post. I was thinking about doing something for the 1 year blog
anniversary, but the beginning of my blog started out kind of rocky
(ur…ugh… is this thing on??) and that’s not happening until April
anyway, so we are celebrating the 100th post instead!

I’ve been thinking about what I could give away to one lucky reader,
and well, since I’ve kind of been on an apron kick, I decided to make a
ruffle apron. I also wanted to include some of my favorite things, so
included are 2 sizes of these adorable tulip cupcake paper liners
.Img_4341

The yellow are for mini-cupcakes, and the green are for the standard
size. I’m also including some of my most favorite sprinkles, which by
the way would look adorable on some spring-time cupcakes! So here’s
where you come in. Seeing as you all get to know me through the blog,
I’m really interested in
knowing who you are. I know there are a lot of lurkers out there, so
de-lurk! Even if it’s only for today. I promise I won’t ask you again.
In the comment section, I’d like you to post something about yourself.
Are you a sewer, crafter, scrapper, wonder woman, are you being paid by
me to read my little blog? What do you like doing? That’s what I want
to know. And I want to know where you are from. So, do those 2 things
and I’ll have my little darling pick a name on Sunday and I’ll announce
the lucky duck on Monday. Good luck!!

Hi. My name is Diane and I found your blog through Olive Juice. I was raised in Utah and my husband grew up near Boston. I live in Texas and have two girls, 8 and 11 years of age. I am
“wicked impressed” by anyone who can make yummy chocolate chip cookies with wheat flour in them. I can’t wait to try them! I am always trying to find ways to get the family eating healthier foods.
I love the variety of projects you do. I also love to bake a little (decorate my kids cupcakes and cakes), make all kinds of stuffed animals, sew (mostly handbags), crochet, knit, craft in general.
I am grateful for the opportunity to feel connected to other like minded women. Sometimes I think that my projects are silly and I feel validated seeing other people do “silly” projects, too.
Congratulations on your 100th blog and keep on blogging.

I don’t remember how I found your blog (I just can’t not follow a link LOL) but I am so glad that I did.
I scrapbook and knit a bit, sew a bit, buy lots of supplies for all of them and hoard those I deem just to cute to use (a weird and costly habbit).
I come to visit your blog to just soak up all things crafty, foody & creative 🙂

Wow. There were zero comments the other day and today over 100!! Go Morgan! So, I really thought I had a chance of winning, but oh well. I am still trying to make it to the fabric store to buy some in order to start my apron 🙂 I am so stealing this idea on my blog to get everyone to leave comments. I wonder what I can give away…

Wowza! Looks like I just stumbled on a good thing from the looks of all these comments. I saw your lovely apron in the Jan/Feb Tie One On gallery and had to see the mastermind behind it.
Since it seems you’re running a little contest, I guess I’ll throw my hat in the ring too.
I’m a ‘young’ wife/graphic designer/crafter. I do a little bit of everything and am rather domestic. Who knows where it came from? My husband and I recently up-rooted, so in the past month I’ve become accustomed to the domestic role. Being at home all day can be really fun. I have so much time to cook and craft!
Congrats on the 100th post/year anniversary! I may go digging through your archives, give myself some hope that not everyone starts off with hundreds of readers on their blogs. Stop on by my place (http://craftnclutter.blogspot.com) sometime, I’ve love to have ya!

YOU are truly an inspiration to all mothers! I first met you at your cookie exchange a year ago and was so amazed at how you were able to throw a party with such ease and delight. I used to live in your complex (we moved to the other side) so you may remember me or my kids, Annabelle and Jake. I’m still a stay at home mom with a hubby in school. I spend most of my days at parks, Disneyland, or any place kid friendly. I love looking for recipes(although I rarely ever actually get to use them), love arts and crafts, and teach piano. We’re also expecting another little bundle so I’m hoping that I can learn to crochet a blanket or sew a blanket, something I’ve said that I would do since I was pregnant with my first. I love to visit your blog b/c you are one of very few moms who I can relate to. I co-sleep and nursed past two. So, thank you for being so open and sharing so much about yourself with all of us.

Love to cook for appreciative and open minded people and ADORE baking. Stumbled upon your blog via Emily Falconbridge’s blog. I don’t know her either but adore her funky, free-spirited scrapping style. I love your recipes and your fun vintage style. I think I may have seen you riding your bike around my neighborhood…and the photos of your home look vaguely familiar. The Village? We lived there for three years. Anyhow, that’s me in a nutshell. Happy 100th!

I’m sure you’re sick of reading these comments by now (I think I’m comment 121), but I really want that apron and those cupcake liners! I am currently a graduate student in Davis CA and my crafts of choice are weaving and quilting. I’m working on a log cabin quilt right now, going on the third year and I’m maybe 1/5 of the way through it. I have patience. I love reading about parenting and I love kids, though I’m far from having my own right now. But I hope to be as together as you seem to be. I’m new to your blog, but I really like it! Thanks for spending the time to do it for all of us out here.

It amazes me that I’m just finding you on your 100th post day. I loved your photo in the Tie One On group for Feb and followed the link here. Why haven’t our paths crossed sooner? I try to keep up with everyone, but the world’s a little too big. 🙂 I like to make everything, but no longer feel the need to make everything. I used to want to make my own shoes, dishes, utensils, etc. Now I know there isn’t enough time, but I still want there to be at least one handmade thing in all our family photos. Last year was a big yarn (knitting and crocheting) year for me. This year is starting out in fabric. It might be the year of the handmade wardrobe here in Santa Cruz. Congratulations on the first 100. Keep on truckin’ 🙂

Ciao, and congrats on your 100th blog post!
I live in Wake Forest, North Carolina and work in Research & Developmentment for a major pharma company (that unfortunately consumes too much of my life!). In 1997 I had the wonderful fortune to live in Verona, Italy and work with said corporation for 6 months. I’ve since become passionate about all things Italian so in my free time, I read in Italian (about 26 novels in the past 3 years), listen to Italian music, ride my Vespa Italian scooter on warm days, and take photos, editing in Photoshop. My favorite subjects are my family! My goal is to move from amateur photographer to professional so I can freelance as a child photographer when I retire in just a few years! Enough about me. I do love you your precious aprons. I have NO talent or patience for sewing so maybe I’ll be a lucky winner. 🙂
    Ciao,

So I’m not in for the apron as I realize the deadline has past – although the cupcake thingies would be nice. Lately I’m hearing a lot of buzz about the MM blog. Admittedly so, this in not my bag to browse the web looking for stitching helps or baking advice but WOW. Ms M. has presented yet another quality product. Your passion and professionalism is unsurpassed. You need your own TV show, or at least a monthly magazine.

LOVE the apron and laughed when I inspected the adorable fabrics – I just made baby bibs out of the orange/red/pink paisley. Well, thanks for the inspiration! Where do you usually get your fabrics?
