Img_3224This little monkey has been keeping me VERY busy this week…he’s tossed our home phone into the bathtub, his sippy cup leaked all over my cell phone and if I find one more toy in the toilet or his little fingers dangling in there (eeewww) I just don’t know what I am going to do! You can’t get mad, because he is laughing his head off and thinks it’s soo funny. Now that he’s walking around, it’s so fun having a little person in the apartment. I see the top of his little head bopping around. He is such a joy. He’s just started saying "Choo-choo" and has become fascinated with trains and airplanes. We dont live far from Santa Monica Airport so Henry is always pointing to the sky everytime he hears an airplane.

He loves this little cap which we bought in Boston at H&M. They have some really, really cute kids clothes. We are still toying around with what he is going to be for Halloween…we’d better get on that. We are quickly running out of time. I was giving him a bath last night and his hair was all wet and matted down- I think he should be Alfala from the Little Rascals. Maybe Chris could be Spanky & I could be Darla. We could ALL be little rascals. I think I might just be on to something!

Img_3244 Run, don’t walk, to the nearest Target and pick up some of these fabulous jammies for your little cowpokes. I fell in love with these the second I saw them. The background is this fabulous mint green and has a wonderful vintagey looking Western print on them. I can’t tell by his expression, but I think Henry likes them? Oh Target, you’ve done it again!

Happy Fall Weekend, Little Cowpokes!

it seems toilets have a universal magnetic pull for toddling little peeps … until time to potty-train them. sigh.
do you think they’d be just as fascinated by a bucket of water on the floor? … I think probably not.

P.S. …. Morgan, Henry looks so much like you did at that age. Same big, clear, round brown eyes. It would be fun to see pics of Chris at that age to see how Henry favors him.

Dontcha love Target!? I really think it is the only store I would ever really need to have around–wish we had one here!
🙂 I so loved that age of constant mischief–back before he knew he was up to trouble. It’s frustrating, in some ways, but the fact that they just think they are being so funny makes it all worth it. You just can’t get made at them!
Of course then they learn to intentionally misbehave, and then it becomes a whole ‘nother story!!
