Happy Thanksgiving! We hosted Thanksgiving at our place today and felt so lucky to have my Mom & Shirl and my sister Megan and her boyfriend Eddie join us. I have so much to be thankful for today: a wonderful husband who is an amazing father to our children and who is working so hard to support our little family. I am grateful for children who are happy and healthy. I am grateful for family who supports us. I am grateful that we have a roof over our heads and cars to drive. I am grateful that Henry is thriving in school and in a class with a teacher that we all love. I am grateful for good friends, near & far, who mean so much to me and who always lend a listening ear (who surely must be tired of all my complaining!!) I am grateful that right now, we have enough for our needs. I am grateful for the opportunity we have to give and for the compassion it teaches our children. I am grateful for our mundane, everyday life (even though it sometimes feels like I'm in a real-life Groundhog's Day!) I am grateful for the freedoms that we all get to enjoy. I am grateful that I get to serve in the Primary at our church. I am grateful for all of you who share my little corner of the world and read this blog of mine and send the sweetest emails; I feel so undeserving.
My heart is full and although right now I struggle with wanting so much of my life to be different, I truely am grateful for what I do have. I'm a pretty lucky girl.
