 for my sister who came out all the way from Wisconsin. They have waited for this baby for a very long time and are so happy to welcome her in the next few months. My sister Megan is a brilliant party planner and planned the most gorgeous shower for her. Because she was flying home and it would be difficult to travel with gifts, Megan made a 'giving tree' where people could give money instead of gifts so Vanessa could get those last few items that they really need. People put their donations in the envelope and tied them on the tree. I had the job of making a "Vermont Maple Blueberry Salad" which had bleu cheese, cinnamon almonds, apples & blueberries. It was delicious- I'll have to share the recipe soon.  
We love you Vanessa and can't wait to meet that sweet babe of yours!
