Don't be fooled, his name was Victor and he hails from Mexico. That's how we roll here in So. Cal. He could work those knives though (and onion volcano's, which by the way, did not have flames bursting out of them-boo on that). It was a day full of birthday wishes from loved ones. There was a wonderful lunch with a friend at the Gypsy Cafe where we feasted on panini and tomato soup followed by a trip next door for ice cream cones for the kids.
There they go, solving the worlds problems one vanilla ice cream cone at a time.
Don't they say that good things happen in 3's? Or is it bad things? I hope it's good things. That would definitely hold true for us.
There was a mid-day trip downtown to the fabric district for some fabric (I totally scored).
At dinner tonight, a woman leaned over and said, "So, are you stopping at 2 kids?" "No way!" I said "We've got to have at least 2 more, maybe 3!" She leaned in and said that more children would definitely suit us and that made me smile.
Chris has just returned home with a big piece of chocolate cake, the kids are asleep and we are going to curl up and catch up on some Thursday night TiVo.
It was a very good day, indeed.
Canon offered me a sweet upgrade to one of these, which should be arriving by Tuesday. Finally. Regular blogging to resume by next week.
