The 2009 Intestinal Parasite weight-loss program was in full swing this past weekend. You guys. You guys…I can't believe I lived to tell the tale. My mother-in-law called today to make sure we were all okay because there have been no updates here. There have been personal, heartbreaking things this week which have kept me from this space so there is not a lot to share. But I can tell you what is making me happy:
My paper whites. I planted them a week too late this year and they hadn't bloomed in time for Christmas, but just in time for our trip home. Utah was good, too. Henry was over the moon about the snow:
Which resulted in his first ever snowman:
It was a wonderful trip and we are happy to be home. I'll post more soon. I do have all those Christmas handmades I've been wanting to show off!

I hope you’re ok! Glad you lived to tell the tale. I’m glad you had a fun trip to Utah. Someone here did a light show, and he claimed his idea came from the Lindon show. Although ours wasn’t as big as the Lindon show, it was big and was sync’ed to the radio. Pretty funny!

I have never made a snowman before, and am now jealous! I’m glad the flowers are growing and thriving…i hate the waiting, but once they do…it’s so happy.

I’m sorry that you were sick, I hope everything is okay. I totally wanted to go to that light show in Lindon but we didn’t make it down there in time. One of these times you come to Utah, we should do lunch or something. Happy New Year! I hope the rest of it goes better for you!

Ugh, sorry you were sick. Did you all get it? Jason has been wanting to call Chris back but hasn’t had two seconds to do so. He’s planning to call soon.
Ethan is going to be SO jealous of Henry’s snowman pictures. He’s been begging for it to snow (it’s not going to). Ethan mentioned the other day that he wants to invite Henry to his birthday party in June. Random, but I’m glad he remembers him!

Oh, my. I hope everyone feels better now. What a shame. Really liked the snowman pictures, though. My grandchildren have always lived in a tropical climate and never seen the snow. I think they would love it like Henry does.

And, I have to thank you for the Lindon light show info! My mom and Anders and I drove out to see it and it made us all very happy (we’ve been experiencing some heartache here, too, so it came at a very, very good time).
